AP E-News
Good morning AP Members and Friends,
This weekend at AP Five Forks is our annual Graduation Celebration Sunday that will include recognition of our member graduates and our graduating 1st graders receiving their first Bible. - We pray for Lori and Kevin Splese as they mourn the unexpected death of their brother-in-law. May the Lord lift them up with his promises and bring joy to their hearts as they trust in God's loving plans and purposes.
- We pray for all our graduates and join them in giving thanks to the Lord for this special milestone of life. May the Lord continue to bless our graduates and may they follow him as they take these new steps in their journey of life.
Other Notes:
- All are invited by our graduating high school students to the Fellowship Hall between services at AP Five Forks for cupcakes and a reception time. Our high school graduates: Bridget Gantt, August Carroll, Isaiah Hartzell, and Ryan Knapp.
- Sunday School students (K4-4th) are singing on Sunday at AP Five Forks and will have final rehearsal before the second service.
- Sign up Sunday to play softball next Sunday (June 1).
- Registration continues for "Pelican Camp" (rising K4-1st) and Art Camp (rising 2nd-8th). See the information table for forms.
- We have openings for a K2 (2-day) teacher, K2 aide, and elementary school after-school care provider. Position descriptions are in the office at AP Five Forks.
- An Open Forum is planned for between services next Sunday (June 1). All are invited to hear and discuss ministry plans.
- Meet our new vicar: Charles Ungemach. Charlie is single and comes to us with some ministry experience as a teacher, having graduated from Martin Luther College (MLC) in 2014 and teaching in the Milwaukee, WI, area for six years. He then desired to serve people in a broader way and enrolled in the seminary certification program at MLC, completing that program in three years. Charlie begins his year of service with us on August 1st.
