“Peace be with you,” are some of the first words Jesus spoke to people after his resurrection from the grave. He understood the fears and worries and troubles of life and he wanted people to know and to have true and lasting peace. That’s why we preach and teach the good news of God’s love for us in Jesus, and we would love to have the opportunity to discuss with you the peace that Jesus gives because of his work and words as the Savior of the world. Check us out in person or online.

You trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Great! That means your life is blessed today and heaven awaits you in the future. But perhaps you feel your faith is “flat” and your interest and enthusiasm for attending worship in a church is the same. We’d love to talk about that with you and see how we might help you experience the joy and peace that our Savior Jesus won for you and that he wants you to have. Please, join us for worship or reach out to our pastor.

There are lots of “voices” in the world today that want you to trust what they have to say. That’s true in business and retail, and it is also true in the world of religion. Are you confused or uncertain by what you hear from friends or religious “experts?” If so, then we would invite you to stop in or contact our pastor. Ask him questions about Bible teachings or church practices and traditions. He’s had years of training and experience and would love to study with you what God says in his Word.

Things that happen in this world can often leave us hurting and longing for hope, searching for help. “Come to me,” is the invitation that Jesus gives in Matthew 11:28. And then he follows that with a promise: “I will give you rest.” Abiding Peace Lutheran Church exists to proclaim and provide the rest that Jesus gives for our weary souls and lives so that we can take on the challenges of life with confidence and peace. Contact us or stop in. We would love to meet you.
