AP E-News
Good morning and greetings from Abiding Peace,
Today, many are remembering the tragic events of September 11, 2001. Some feel that 911 ushered in a new era - a loss of "innocence," where fear fills the minds of people stepping onto an airplane, and where metal detectors and clear bags are common, even in schools. This all reminds us of the lostness that sin produces and the blessing of "foundness" in our Savior Jesus. This Sunday Jesus teaches us about this and what he says might surprise you and make you think, as we continue our theme: "Wounds that Heal." Come Sunday to hear more.

Prayer Notes:
- Jamie Pierson has begun his battle with pancreatic cancer. We ask the Lord to grant peace to Jamie and Pam, and we boldly ask the Lord to bless with success the chemo treatment. May our gracious God bring to Jamie and Pam comfort and strength through his promises and may he draw them close to him for hope and confidence.
- We ask a similar prayer for Rick Zebrak who has been hospitalized this week with blood clots around his lungs (due to a recent illness) that required surgery. May the Lord bless him with a positive road to full recovery.
- Pastor Quandt was also hospitalized this week, but has now returned home. He says he feels fine but they are still wondering why his health took a "hit" that resulted in testing and time in the hospital. We pray for clarity and good health moving forward.
Other Notes:
